Flex Machine Tools to Hold Open House on December 5th in Wapakoneta, Ohio

Flex Machine Tools, an American manufacturer and leading provider of machine tool solutions worldwide for metal fabrication operations and more, announced it will be hosting an Open House Event at Flex headquarters in Wapakoneta, Ohio on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Additionally, appointment times can be reserved for Friday, December 6th.
At the special, complementary event attendees will learn how FLEX technology can boost productivity and transform operations. Several live demonstrations will be featured including:
- FlexJet FLX waterjet with automated cutting via new IGEMS technology with an advanced 5-Axis cutting head.
- Versatile, cantilever-style FlexCNC C-series long-bed machining center for accurate, high-speed drilling, milling and tapping of large parts. Demonstrations will include thermal drilling and milling keyways.
- New, innovative Flexible Tapping Center designed to streamline operations when drilling, tapping, and countersinking sheet metal.
- A range of highly efficient Pneumatic, Electric and Hydraulic Tapping and FlexERGO Arms for safe and ergonomic operations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by trying out the FlexArm Tapping Arm to see how easy tapping can be. Also, a tour of the FLEX 115,000 sq. ft. facility will provide an opportunity to see firsthand where FLEX manufacturing happens. Manufacturing professionals are encouraged to attend.
