It is that time of year. The annual FABTECH expo is upon us to provide metalworkers with the tools, technology, and know-how to stay ahead of the competition.
FABTECH 2024, which is making its showcase debut in Orlando, Fla., provides metalworkers with a one-stop shop venue where you can meet with more than 1,550 world-class suppliers, discover innovative solutions to your greatest challenges, and find the tools to improve productivity and increase profits. The event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, October 15-17.
FABTECH is North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event. Orlando is located in one of America’s fastest growing manufacturing bases —Florida is considered the 10th best state for manufacturing, as outlined in Florida’s 2023 Manufacturing Report.
This year’s featured speakers at FABTECH will highlight manufacturing innovation, leadership, resilience and future-ready workforce strategies. Among the many highlights of the event are FABx Tech Talks, Women of FABTECH, and the FABTECH Conference, where attendees can customize their agenda from 14 tracks. Technology tracks include Automation, Cutting, Forming & Fabricating, Job Shop, Laser, Management, Marketing & Sales, Robotics, and Stamping, among others.
“FABTECH 2024 is designed to ignite change and drive advancements across the manufacturing sector,” said Tracy Garcia, CEM, group director – FABTECH Series at SME. “With an extensive lineup of influential speakers, we aim to provide attendees with the knowledge and inspiration to embrace new technologies and innovative practices. Our mission is to empower every participant to overcome industry challenges and propel their organizations forward.”
New to this year’s FABTECH agenda is the three-day FABTECH Emerging Leaders Program, which is tailored specifically for young professionals under the age of 35. The program will equip rising stars with the tools and confidence to shape their future and drive positive change in their organizations and the industry.
And don’t forget the main highlight of this annual industry gathering — the exhibit hall. The Orange County Convention Center consists of two buildings, comprised of seven pavilions: Forming & Fabricating, 3D/Additive Manufacturing, METALFORM, and Tube & Pipe in the South Building; and Welding, Automation, and Finishing in the West Building. More than 500 new products and services are expected to make their debut at FABTECH 2024.
