Steel Warehouse Company, a leading steel solutions provider and service center, is pleased to announce its strategic expansion into Jefferson County, Tenn. — a move designed to bolster its commitment to the construction equipment, agriculture, lawn and garden, and truck and trailer industries. This expansion to a 40,000 square foot facility will enable Steel Warehouse to enhance its processing capabilities and drive increased efficiencies for the company’s valued partners. By extending its footprint, Steel Warehouse can provide even greater support and advanced steel solutions, while also reinforcing its role as a leader in the steel sector.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Jefferson City community and our strategic partners for their unwavering support as we embark on this exciting expansion. This investment reflects our commitment to innovation and growth, and we are eager to contribute to the economic development of this region,” said Ted Lerman, CEO, Steel Warehouse. “Together, we look forward to creating new opportunities and advancing the capabilities of the industries we serve.”
With the expansion, which involves an investment of nearly $20 million, Steel Warehouse anticipates creating more than 70 new jobs and hopes to attract additional business investments to Jefferson County. Steel Warehouse recognizes and thanks the State of Tennessee, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development (TNECD), the Jefferson City Alliance and many others for their partnership in helping make the expansion possible.
The new expansion joins two other Steel Warehouse locations in Tennessee — Chattanooga and Memphis.
