FABTECH Canada: Scotchman Industries Offers Range of Metal Fabrication Machinery

A complete range of general to heavy-duty metal fabrication machinery from Scotchman Industries will be presented at booth #8018. Live equipment demonstrations will showcase the features and benefits which can be achieved with these Scotchman products.
The Cold Saws to be demonstrated include the CPO 350-PKPD with semi-automatic operation and will be equipped with a Digital Quick Stop for automatic length positioning of material. Operators can change lengths in a snap with Digital Quick Stop using preset hotkeys and easily adjust measurements on the 7” touchscreen Android tablet or upload an entire cut list using its Bluetooth & WIFI capabilities. The CPO 350-PKPD saw is an industrial grade circular cold saw with mitering capabilities of 135° with a miter locking device allowing for quick & accurate stop setting at 45°, 90° and 135°. These saws have a 2-speed motor and utilize up to a 14” diameter blade giving it a 4-7/8” OD round capacity which consistently produces burr-free, and high-quality cuts.
The Upcut Miter Saw to be demonstrated include the Scotchman SUP-600 NF Upcut Miter saw designed specifically for cutting Non-Ferrous material such as Aluminum, Copper, PVC and Wood. Featuring a 24” (600 mm) 132 tooth carbide blade that can produce round cuts up to 8” in diameter and rectangular cuts up to 9″ x 5″at 90°, the SUP-600 NF offers an increased cutting capacity not found in traditional pivot saws.
The Scotchman Industries 6509-24M 65-Ton Ironworker is a single operator with 4 station machine and features the largest flat bar shear capacity and largest angle shear capacity of any machine in its class! With a 65-ton punching capacity, this ironworker can punch 1-1/16″ hole through 3/4″ thick, 65,000 tensile plate. Combining this machine’s large capacity with its large, open tool table makes this machine the most versatile and flexible machine on the market. This ironworker is built tough and utilizes a hydraulic system with electric valve and remote foot pedal for ease of use. Precision adjustable electric stroke control with scale virtually eliminates human errors.
The 50514-EC ironworker comes standard with a 50- ton punch station with a capacity of 1-1/4″ hole in½” material plus other standard features including: an angle shear with a shearing capacity of 4″ x 4″ x 3/8″ angle, a 14″ flat bar shear, and a rectangle notcher which will notch up to 2-1/2″ x 3″ in 5/16″ material. With its component tool table design, it can accept optional equipment, such as the 12″ press brake, rod shear, square tube shear, picket tools, pipe notcher, and special tooling, which is also available.
