KHK USA Inc., distributor of the market leading KHK® brand of metric gears, announces its new line of gear couplings, manufactured to the highest quality standards by Kohara Gear Industry Co., of Japan. Known as the GC series, these gears and corresponding sleeves are designed to permit the connection of two shafts with minor misalignments.

When designing a motion application, there is a need to connect to a motor shaft. Use of a KHK® stock gear coupling will allow for torque of one shaft to be connected to another shaft and compensate of minor misalignment. KHK® Gear couplings are produced in three sizes with 17 bore sizes to select from.

All of the KHK® gear coupling components are made from 1045 carbon steel and feature induction hardened teeth for added durability. The gears are included in the KHK® J series program where stock bores can be open along with the addition of keyways and sets screws, with production requiring only 3 business days.
