At FABTECH 2023, orbital wrapper manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pa. (www.tabwrapper.com), introduced new, powder-coated machine guarding for its TAB Wrapper Tornado line of orbital wrapping machines. Included as standard on all of the company’s pallet wrappers, the steel machine guarding is now powder coated in a textured wrinkle gray finish that resists scratches and scuffs, hides dust and fingerprints, and maintains its professional quality appearance even in bustling metal shops and other industrial environments. The new, textured finish upgrades the original, smooth, painted finish specified since the launch of the patented orbital stretch wrapper.

Designed and manufactured in the company’s Reading, Pa. headquarters, the powder coated machine safety guarding features precision, laser-cut, 14-gauge steel for long-term durability. The proprietary guarding design uses interchangeable parts to promote quick assembly and permit retrofit on TAB Wrapper Tornado machines in the field.

The orbital stretch wrapping machines apply stretch wrap 360 degrees around and under the pallet and load to create a stable, unitized load that eliminates the need for boxes, crates, and banding. Product testing on the stretch wrappers is offered at the company’s headquarters.
