The new Rite-Hite Trailer Lift (RHTL) helps raise an array of vehicles to proper dock height, while leveling the trailer bed to help protect cargo and make forklift loading/unloading more efficient and ergonomic. Ideal for use in automotive and other industries where heavy, cubed loads are common, the RHTL features a reinforced platform and larger hydraulic cylinders for increased lift.

The RHTL’s design provides full, unobstructed access to a wide variety of vehicle types and loads, thus helping to provide a universal fit regardless of vehicle bed height. Its four-panel design allows for gentle inclines and declines of the deck surface to help keep the trailer bed level when raised. Integral wheel guides and run-off guard help to ensure proper alignment and keep all trailer tires centered and in place.

The RHTL features several technological enhancements that help make it even more safe, reliable, and efficient than its predecessors. Its upgraded hydraulic cylinders give it an additional 2 inches of lifting height compared to competitive models. The cylinder towers have been upgraded to feature a deflection technology design that helps protect it from impact by backing trailers, guiding it to center at the dock.

Other features include a reinforced deck for additional strength; dual maintenance rear props for added safety during routine cleaning and maintenance; a traction-enhancing diamond plate tread with abrasive, non-slip paint; integral wheel guides at the front of the lift on the drive approach to ensure accurate dock positioning; and debris guards that run the full length and height of the trailer lift. In addition, the RHTL’s manual release lowering valve can quickly lower the lift in the event of a power outage.

For additional safety, the RHTL can be integrated with Rite-Hite’s SHR-5000 Dok-Lok® restraint, whose unique “shadow hook” design provides the greatest reach and widest working range of any restraint on the market, helping it maintain safe engagement with almost any type of truck or trailer. The RHTL and Dok-Lok® are both compatible with Rite-Hite’s centralized Dok-Commander® control system, which can be interlocked with other pieces of dock equipment and programmed to work only in a safe sequence of operation.
