Originally founded in 1926 as the Wells Manufacturing Company of Three Rivers, MI, William F. Wells designed and produced a line of hinge type metal cutting bandsaws. Two of the early models remained so popular that they have continued in production even to this day. In 1949 Mr. Wells sold the company and formed W.F. Wells & Sons, also in Three Rivers, MI. There, he developed a twin column, true horizontal bandsaw. In 1986 the Wellsaw bandsaw division of Wells Mfg. Corp. was purchased and moved to Kalamazoo, MI. Today Wellsaw, Inc. and W.F. Wells, Inc. work together as sister companies under common ownership.

WELLSAW

Wellsaw manufactures a full line of high quality metal cutting bandsaws with features and construction that ensure accurate cutting, ease of operation and long service life.

All of our saws are made at our factory in the U.S. We carry a full inventory of parts for models built since 1933 and most orders will ship the same day they are received. When you call our factory you will not enter a voice mail system, but speak directly with one of our Customer Support people. They know bandsawing and know how to help. When you buy a Wellsaw you’ll enjoy years of trouble free, accurate cutting.

W.F. WELLS

W.F. Wells is the pioneer of the twin column bandsaw configuration. By melding sophisticated technology with innovative design, we stake our claim as a leader in bandsaw design and manufacturing. We are the only manufacturer that features our superior cutting force system that ensures the force is taken from the blade, not the cutting head. Accurate cutting force is a necessity in bandsawing to assure straight cuts. All of our saws feature components that are UL and CSA approved and qualify for use in automotive applications. We have made a commitment to stock our standard machines as well as parts for all models dating back to 1949. If you need a saw or repair part now, we have it in stock!
