Metals Manufacturer Expands Automated Deburring, Grinding Equipment Lineup

(Reading, PA): Metalworking manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, has purchased a new EZ Sander Widebelt Metal Finishing Machine with companion dust collector. Expanding the company’s range of automated equipment for deburring, grinding, and slag removal, the 37-inch Arclight Dynamics sanding system offers increased speed and throughput capabilities for finishing large parts while also offering a brushed finish as an option. Smaller parts continue to be finished on a Mini 9 compact deburring machine by Midwest Automation, allowing metal parts of all sizes to be finished in a single pass for improved efficiency.

Installed in the company’s 44,000-square foot, Reading, PA. manufacturing center, the new metal finishing system was necessary to cut time in finishing and maintain in-house control and supervision over large part production, according to Tom Brizek, president of TAB Industries. The new EZ Sander installation marks the latest in a string of investments in machinery and automation that includes two laser cutting machines, a new press brake, and a variety of auxiliary equipment. TAB Industries offers metal fabrication, CNC and traditional machining, MIG/TIG welding, stamping, deburring, and a variety of engineering, finishing, assembly, packaging, and supply chain services.
