BLM GROUP Expands Left-Hand Configuration to Entire ELECT Tube Bending Series
BLM GROUP has announced the addition of left-hand configuration capability to its ELECT 102, 130, and 150 bender models, expanding this capability to all ELECT machines, which also include right-hand configuration capability.

Now, fabricators processing tubes or pipes with diameters of up to 6” can choose the bending direction they use most; right- or left-handed.
With multiple tool stack capability, the ELECT benders can produce fixed and variable radii in a single setup. The all-electric operation eliminates the need for hosing and piping associated with hydraulic systems. BLM GROUP said the all-electric operation helps to simplify maintenance and improve reliability for more consistent bending. The company added that the 9-axis or 10-axis systems are well-suited for tube production in a variety of industries, including HVAC, furniture, agricultural, automotive, and aerospace.
The ELECT benders are available with manual or automatic loading. The automatic loader can be positioned to the left or right of the machine. Additionally, a special loading cycle is available for heavy tube or multi-ball mandrels. The BLM ELECT tube benders can incorporate automatic tube bundle loading and a handling robot for a complete turnkey solution that manages the entire tube loading and unloading sequence.
BLM GROUP said a key benefit of its benders is the associated software, which eliminates trial-and-error programming for mistake-free production right from the start. The company added that this easy-to-use software eliminates the need for highly trained and skilled operators, while achieving quick production changeover and less waste.
BLM GROUP (Cantù, Italy) provides tube and sheet-metal processing solutions. The North American market (the United States, Canada, and Mexico) is served by BLM GROUP USA (Novi, MI).
