Latest Addition to Tabletop Robot Family Features 14 kg Payload and is Well-Suited for Tight Workspaces
In Booths B-23022 and D-45535, FANUC America Corp. (Rochester Hills, MI) will feature the new model of its LR Mate series of tabletop industrial robots, the LR Mate 200iD/14L, among its products.
Posted: July 2, 2021
The LR Mate series has unique features including its lightweight and tabletop size, which is often compared to the size of a person’s arm. The robots can process or handle parts weighing up to 14 kg in industries like automotive, e-commerce and warehousing, food and beverage, medical device, pharmaceutical and others. The 10 models include cleanroom and wash-proof versions, each with various wrist speeds and reaches to accommodate limited workspaces.
The LR Mate 200iD robots offer both upright and invert mount installations and can be equipped with a variety of intelligent features, such as robot vision. Other benefits include:
- Slim arm and compact footprint minimize interference to peripheral devices in tight spaces.
- Available in three variations: standard, short and long arm.
- 4 kg to 14 kg wrist load capacity with up to six-axis articulation.
- Work envelope simplifies system layout.
- Fastest joint axes speeds maximize system throughput.
- Integrated 24 VDC power, signal and air for easy end-of-arm-tool connection.
- Integrated through-arm cable option for iRVision, force sensing, Ethernet and auxiliary axes.
- Flexible mounting (upright, invert, angle).
- High rigidity and advanced servo technology enable smooth motion at high speeds.
- Easy integration into machines.
- Features light mechanical unit.
- Standard IP67 rating allows operation in factory environments with dust and oil mist; many variants have an optional IP69K rating for wash-proof, cleanroom or food-grade environments.
