Two Companies to Create Laser Welding Machine that Uses Coherent Beam Combining Laser Source

A 3D dynamic beam laser cutting and welding machine that uses coherent beam combining will be created by Civan Advanced Technologies Ltd. and Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd.

“This strategic partnership will provide laser welders with a complete end-to-end system utilizing dynamic beam lasers and their unique capabilities,” says Eyal Shekel, CEO of Civan. “We are excited to pioneer this breakthrough in material processing.”

The project and strategic collaboration is funded by the Israeli Innovation Authority and the Global Innovation & Technology Alliance.

Civan and SLTL will present a completed unit at EuroBlech 2022 in October 2022.

Civan (Jerusalem, Israel) offers dynamic beam lasers. The laser allows manufacturers to control beam shape, frequency, sequence and focus steering to eliminate spatter and to increase welding power and speed.

Located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, SLTL provides laser cutting and engraving machines to manufacturing industries. The company’s products have played a role in many sectors, from software to high-tech electronics for smart factories.
