Dualene 1601 S from Safechem Europe GmbH (Dusseldorf, Germany) is the first pre-stabilized, pure and virgin-grade modified alcohol developed for a wide range of metal cleaning applications. Because of its polar and non-polar properties, the chemistry removes lubricant greases, polar oil additives, and corrosion inhibitors as effectively as moist emulsion residues. Results are comparable with The Dow Chemical Co.’s Dowclene 1601. Dualene 1601 S is distributed in the United States by Brulin Holding Co. (BHC) and  Hubbard-Hall.
