Dual-force precision vises from Palmgren (Naperville, IL) combine quality, high precision and wide clamping capacities at an affordable price. Available with jaw widths from 4 inches to 8 inches and jaw openings from 6 inches to 10 inches, the vises are suitable for applications ranging from high-production manufacturing environments to rapid prototyping machine shops.
The vise’s dual-force anti-lifting mechanism provides a half-pound of downward force for every pound of horizontal force. A sealed friction-reducing needle thrust bearing helps clamping pressure and reduces drag.
