End Formers for Aerospace, Tank, and HVAC Components
Two models – the 2.5 and 4.0 – from Kaast Machine Tools ensure consistently accurate strength-promoting beads in materials up to 0.15-inch (4mm) thick. Available with mechanically (ZSM) or hydraulically (ZSH) driven upper rolls.

When end forming for the aerospace, tank, or HVAC industries, the ZSH and ZSM from Kaast Machine Tools Inc. (Aldan PA) add strength and connectivity to materials up to 0.15-inch (4mm) thick via consistently accurate beads.
The workshop- and site-friendly machines are available with mechanically (ZSM) or hydraulically (ZSH) driven upper rolls. There are two models:
The 2.5 handles up to 13 Ga material at 16 RPMs, and features a 3.75-inch roll opening and 6.3-inch throat.
The 4.0 handles up to 9 Ga material at 12 RPMs, and offers a 5-inch roll opening and 7.8-inch throat.
Both come with four sets of dies for rolling the most common beads in the fabrication industry. Eight other standard die sets are available as well as custom dies, expanding the machines’ capabilities even further.
The twin foot pedal control pedestal offers easy-to-use controls and a generous 8-foot connection. The heavy machine base is robust, minimizing distorting vibrations while maximizing stability during operations.
