LVD (Gullegem, Belgium) announces LVD North America – the new trade name for the sales and service division of Strippit, Inc. for the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Effective immediately, the LVD North America trade name replaces the LVD Strippit brand and reflects alignment with the broader LVD Group organization.
In 1998, Strippit, Inc. became part of the LVD Group. As the brand progressed over nearly a quarter of a century, Strippit LVD became LVD Strippit and is now evolved to LVD North America. The new trade name provides consistent brand recognition worldwide and helps unify the LVD brand across its 47 global subsidiaries. The change will in no way impact commercial relations with LVD customers, vendors and other business partners.
Strippit, Inc.’s Akron, New York-based engineering and manufacturing facility will become an independent production facility for the LVD Group, serving all markets worldwide. As such, the 250,000 square-foot facility will be used to manufacture a broader range of LVD products to support global sales.
Sylvain Lefebvre will serve as president of LVD North America. He is part of the third-generation ownership of the LVD business, which was established in 1952 by the founders Lefebvre, Vanneste and Dewulf. He has spent the last four years establishing and managing the company’s LVD Mexico subsidiary.
The senior management team of LVD North America will include Elizabeth Victor,
vice president sales & marketing, and Mathieu Vanbraekel, vice president customer service.
“It was the right time to rebrand our sales and service division for North America,” said Lefebvre. “We’ve strengthened the LVD presence in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and have become a more closely integrated company. This rebranding strategy is testament to that evolution as well as to our vision for LVD’s future global expansion and business development.”
