Designed for industrial work environments, Carhartt Braswell Readers from Pyramex Safety (Piperton, TN) couple a sleek, half-frame design with ultralightweight but impact-resistant material to protect the eyes of those who need glasses to read screens, plans, and other small font.
Weighing 25 grams, the glasses provide a customized fit with adjustable nosepiece and temple tips made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) and ratcheting temples. The frame and lens are made from polycarbonate, which was invented for the aerospace industry for its durable and virtually shatter-resistant properties. Lab- and field-tested, the glasses are ANSI- and CSA-rated for high impact.
The black-and-tan glasses are available in three variations: +1.5 magnification (CHB1110TR15), +2.0 magnification (CHB1110TR20), and +2.5 magnification (CHB1110TR25).
