Plasma Table Starts at $14,000 to $17,000
The 1300PL has become the most-used machine at Tormach’s facility. The 65-amp plasma cutter cuts 4-foot-by-4-foot sheets of metal up to 1 inch thick and holds up to 750 pounds, and comes with or without a torch.

Tormach Inc. (Waunakee, WI) adds the 1300PL to its CNC equipment lineup. The plasma cutting table accommodates 4-foot-by-4-foot sheets of metal up to 1 inch thick. Closed-loop servo motors and rack-and-pinion drive ensure reliable accuracy when cutting 1,000 inches per minute (IPM).
Delivered liftgate-ready, the machine can come with everything but a torch (Tormach recommends Hypertherm) for a starting price of about $14,000. Systems that include a torch include digital height control and a magnetic breakaway safety feature with collision detection, and start at $17,150.
User-friendly Tormach PathPilot control software includes material picker feeds and speeds and allows direct DXF import. Modular electrical system features fully replaceable control cables; integrated water table mounted on sliding rails is ideal for cutting larger parts.
X axis travels 50 inches, Y axis travels 51.5 inches, and Z axis travels 3.9 inches.
