App Helps Avoid Welding Failures in the Field
Lincoln Electric’s NEXTime preventative maintenance app for Ranger welder/generators monitors critical functions to ensure field workers are working instead of troubleshooting productivity-sapping machine-operation issues.
Posted: November 10, 2020
Lincoln Electric’s NEXTime app connects workers to the company’s Ranger welder/generators from up to 15 feet away to provide real-time data and alerts. The app:
- Monitors battery and fuel status
- Provides maintenance alerts
- Creates maintenance logs
- Provides maintenance instructions and locates service and distribution facilities
- Manages an unlimited number of machines.
The app is compatible with the Ranger 225, 250, and 305 models. Designed with maintenance screens as part of the user interface, the 260MPX and 330MPX models will be compatible with the app at a later date.
