The IK-12 NEXT from Koike Aronson Ransome (Arcade, NY) is capable of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting as well as general welding and pendulum weave welding, making the portable cutting and welding machine an extremely versatile addition to any shop.
The machine is designed with two patented features: a heat emission mechanism that displaces up to 45% of all heat; and a creep control button that slows the machine at the beginning and end of a cut, which is especially useful when cutting thick plate.
“When you’re in the market for a portable machine, you need a durable piece of equipment that improves shop efficiency and productivity,” says Ben Cramer, Portable and Gas Apparatus product manager. “That’s why versatility and ease of operation were designed into the IK-12 NEXT. Although it works quickly and accurately, it’s easy enough to use that operators of all skill levels can achieve consistent high-quality results.”
A multifunction digital control panel enables the operator to precisely set a wide range of parameters as they relate to each process. The powertrain allows for extremely specific positioning and ensures continuous drive speed and pulling force regardless of power fluctuations and varying load weight.
For easy setup, installation instructions are available for instant download to any smartphone.
