High-Speed Robotic Machine Loading Cell

Now is a challenging time for companies to recover fast and get production back up to speed to stay competitive. Pre-engineered for delivery in just eight weeks, Acieta’s FastLOAD DR2000 pays for itself in 24 or fewer months.

Acieta’s FastLOAD DR2000 robotic cell has a 6-axis robot that can tend three machines simultaneously. Part height ranges from 0.79 inches (20 mm) to 9.84 inches (250 mm); width, 0.63 inches (16 mm) to 5.67 inches (144 mm). Additional part sizes are possible with custom grippers.
Acieta’s FastLOAD DR2000 robots range from the M-10iD/8L with a 18-pound (8-kg) payload and 80-inch (2,032-mm) reach to the M-20iA/35M with 77-pound (35-kg) payload and 71-inch (1,813-mm) reach. Drawers accommodate parts ranging from 2.2 inches (55 mm) to 12.8 inches (325 mm) high.

For machine shops facing capacity challenges, labor shortages and quality variability, Acieta’s (Waukesha, WI) FastLOAD DR2000 robotic cell is pre-engineered to meet the most common machine tooling needs so it’s ready for delivery and installation in eight weeks.

“Manufacturers typically see a return on investment in 24 months or less because they increase capacity and can reduce cost per part,” says Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mark Sumner. “It’s a low-risk option to invest in automation and address business challenges fast.”

For continuous uptime, the cell’s Fanuc 6-axis robot tends up to three machines simultaneously so an operator can load and unload parts while the robot is working. This allows manufacturers to leverage existing machines that may not be in operation due to labor shortages.

Safety area scanners and an intuitive touchscreen interface enable employees to work efficiently and safely.
