All-in-One Temperature Scanner

The ANT-FR-Q9 from Antlia Systems combines facial recognition technology with no-contact temperature detection to provide a complete access-control health security system. It’s just one in the company’s suite of out-of-the-box screening systems.

The facial recognition and temperature detector (ANT-FR-Q9) is one of Antlia Systems’ suite of customizable thermal detection products that are fully functional out of the box and can be integrated with existing building security systems. The company’s other thermal screening products include kiosks, camera systems, and simple sensors.

Chicago-based MxD and its partners work to equip factories with the digital tools and expertise to advance innovation in manufacturing and make each part better than the last. MxD’s 100,000-square-foot innovation center features a factory floor with some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment in the world. Corporation partners including Boeing, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Autodesk, and McKinsey & Company use the space for experimentation and training on everything from augmented reality to advanced simulation techniques.

To promote a safe return to work in the midst of the pandemic, MxD installed thermal temperature scanners from Antlia Systems (Chicago, IL) at the building’s entrance. In less than 1 second, the ANT-FR-Q9 thermal detection kiosk with identity verification identifies employees and guests as they enter, checks for elevated body temperature, and confirms whether they’re wearing a mask.

MxD is also manufacturing safety products in-house to give employees further confidence they can enter the building safely. This includes sneeze guards, desk dividers and door openers that promote social distancing and reduce surface contact.

“As additional members of our team return to the office, we’ve been hard at work to ensure our innovation center is a safe environment where everyone can thrive,” says MxD CEO Chandra Brown. “We wanted to integrate our mission into comprehensive return-to-workplace safety protocols through temperature scanners, streamlined registration and check-in, and digital signage.”

Antlia Systems’ suite of customizable thermal detection products are fully functional out of the box and can be integrated with existing building security systems.
