MB Metal Technologies’ quick-change base plate for two models of dot peen marking machines comes with round and square jaws to quickly and easily register parts so customers achieve a clean and clear mark.

Designed to quickly snap on and snap off to help customers quickly and easily register parts for marking, the MB3315S/PM1533 quick-change base plate (part number MBQCA3315SBP) from MB Metal Technologies LLC (Milwaukee, WI) works with MarkinBOX 3315S and Patmark 1533 dot peen marking machines.
The base plate comes with a choice of jaws depending on what you’re marking. The square jaws grab onto square parts from ¼-inch to 1-1/2 inches. The round jaws have two size ranges: 1 to 3 inches and 3 to 6 inches. Magnets that are potted in the jaws help secure the base plate to parts.
Marking area: 0.6 inches (15 mm) by 1.3 inches (33 mm) for round and flat parts.
