EMAG, a German machine tools manufacturer, is offering complimentary access to its customized design files to 3D print an industrial, hands-free door opening device.
Originally developed by Materialise, the hands-free door opener was modified by an EMAG employee, a hobbyist in 3D printing, making it usable with frequently used, heavy industrial doors.
Instead of keeping the customized plan to themselves, EMAG is sharing the design and manual for the industrial door opener here for free to help others stop the spread of the coronavirus.
