The wireless Pick-to-Light device from Voodoo Robotics, the V2, is designed to help warehouses further improve picking accuracy and productivity. A simple URL causes the Cloud Display Devices to light up with up to five lines of custom text, and the average time to light up is 1.5 to 2 seconds. The device can even play a custom tune.

Users can identify the pick or put with a barcode of QR Code.  For example, the device might instruct a specific picker to select X number of a specific SKU. Or, it could indicate into which bin the picked inventory should be placed.

Features include:

  • Wireless IoT devices run on two AAA batteries
  • Long battery life allows devices to last years (depending on usage)
  • Five lines of custom text in the language you need
  • Custom barcodes or QR Codes for each transaction
  • Lights up in different colors and plays a custom tune
  • Simple URL integration can even work with Excel
  • Purchase outright or month-to-month lease options available

The V2 comes with two AAA batteries that can last for years, depending on usage – devices spend most of their time “sleeping” to maximize battery efficiency. Battery life can be extended by reducing brightness and display time (and by enabling flashing mode).Voltage is continuously monitored by the system.

While idle, the device, displays static or stand-by information including a hazard icon, barcode and/or QR Code. For example, you might want to show what SKU and quantity is stored in a location or who has been assigned to a picking cart.
