Tormach Inc.’s (Waunakee, WI) newest CNC mill, the 1100MX, is a servo-driven version of the company’s two best-selling mills: the 1100M and 770M. Servos for the X, Y, and Z axes provide speeds of 10,000 rpm and feed rates up to three times faster than the M series machines.
The MX’s BT-30 spindle has an encoder for rigid tapping. The machine can be combined with the upgraded PathPilot operator control console. Together, they cost-effective high-performance machining.
