Monitor and troubleshoot production issues with the handheld MM-410A handheld from Amada Miyachi America Inc. (Monrovia, CA) The compact resistance weld checker supports a wide range of technologies including AC, DC inverter, AC inverter, transistor, and capacitive discharge. Featuring a simple and intuitive user interface and color touch panel display, the unit provides information on current, voltage, weld time, and force.
The MM-410A can be used to correlate waveform and numeric data with process results and provide detailed weld data for process optimization and validation. Continuous use in a production environment reduces scrap by detecting drifts in the weld process and alerting operators before process failure, reduces the frequency of destructive testing, and provides independent monitoring by detecting drifts in power supply calibration.
When used with available ISO-compliant toroidal coil, the unit provides ISO17657-compliant current measurement. Setup is easy with the 5.7-in color touch panel. Seam-welding mode monitors AC current and voltage or DC voltage for up to 5 minutes. Data storage is available using an onboard flash drive. Ethernet (TCP/IP) and RS-232/485 communication. Multilanguage support includes Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Accessories include toroidal coils, force sensors, and current/force sensors.
