LVD Strippit (Akron, OH) adds the 40/15 Pro to its Dyna-Press Series of press brakes. Featuring a 59-inch (1,500-mm) working length and 5-axis backgauge, the 40-ton machine bends at speeds of up to 1 inch (25 mm) per second to generate more parts per hour at a lower cost per part. Combine the Dyna-Press 40/15 Pro with an industrial robot to automate bending operations as a Dyna-Cell.
The machine’s electric ram smoothly transitions from approach to working speed and minimizes power consumption via an optimal-power-to-inertia motor ratio. The ram and servomotors are coupled with two heavy-duty ball screws to distribute force and tonnage evenly across the working length. As a result, the press brake provides fast, energy-efficient operation across a range of bending jobs.
Vertical removal tooling style provides for simple and quick changeovers even with heavier tools.
Like the series’ other models, the Dyna-Press 40/15 Pro can be operated while seated or standing. IRIS Lazer Safe guarding system provides an added measure of security.
The machine is easy to run with minimal training. The 15-inch Touch-B touchscreen with intuitive graphical display offers additional functionality by enabling the operator to create and simulate 3D designs at the control. The controller is compatible with LVD’s CADMAN-B CAM software.
Dyna-Press 40/15 Pro features a 15.8-inch (400-mm) opening and 7.9-inch (200-mm) stroke. Options include front supports, hydraulic clamping on table and ram, robot interface, and contact fingers.
