Laser Tracker Rental and Rent-To-Own Programs

The Metrology Services Division of Automated Precision Inc. (API) is renting Radian laser trackers with accessories by the day, week, month, or longer. The portable coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) are supplied complete with metrology software or customers can use their own measurement software license.

Automated Precision Inc.’s (API) Radian laser tracker can be rented with accessories. The v-Probe is for tactile measurement of large parts; the iScan sensor enables the unit to be used for laser scanning and point cloud creation for reverse engineering and inspections.

The Metrology Services Division of Automated Precision Inc. (API) (Rockville, MD) is renting the company’s flagship product, the Radian laser tracker, by the day, week, month, and longer.

The portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is supplied complete with metrology software, or customers can use their own measurement software license. Customers also can apply rental payments toward the cost of a new tracker through a new Rent-to-Own program that enables manufacturers to perform measurements, alignments, and calibration tasks while their purchasing department completes the procurement process.

Trackers can be rented with accessories including the v-Probe, which allows CMM-style tactile measurements to be performed on large parts on the manufacturing floor; and the iScan sensor, which enables the unit to be used for laser scanning and point cloud creation for reverse engineering and production part inspections.

API’s Metrology Services Division also performs onsite contract inspection, measurements, and alignments throughout North America and Mexico, laser tracker accuracy verifications in the field, and laser tracker calibrations at its ISO17025-certified laboratory.
