Deep-Cut Hole Saws
New tooth pattern and pitch produce more cuts in less time.

L.S. Starrett Co. (Athol, MA) has redesigned the Deep-Cut Bimetal Hole Saw with a pattern of seven different progressive teeth called NVP Tech (new variable pitch) and matching tooth set. Combined with extra-cobalt tooth material for enhanced heat and wear resistance, the changes provide fast and aggressive but smoother cutting action.
The saws cut holes up to 2 in (51mm) deep and tube wall thicknesses of more than 1/8 in (3mm). They’re available in sizes and pitches from ¾ in (19 mm) to 6 in (152 mm) and a metric-only line ranging from 56 mm to 210 mm for a total of 55 stock keeping units (SKUs).
