OPEN MIND Technologies USA, Inc. (Needham, MA) has announced the celebration of their 25th company anniversary this year. Founded in 1994 and growing from just 20 employees to over 300 personnel located throughout the world in sales and service subsidiaries in 15 countries, their hyperMILL® software suite is one of the world’s leading CAD/CAM solutions.Their North American subsidiary was established in 1996.

“We are pleased to continue our tradition of embracing the latest technology and innovation to provide superior CAD/CAM solutions,” said Dr. Josef Koch, the chief technology officer and one of the company founders. “Our company has significantly shaped and driven forward the development of modern 5-Axis simultaneous machining in tool and mold manufacturing, and is successful in a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, turbomachinery, energy, medical and more.”

To commemorate their silver anniversary, employees and resellers celebrated this important milestone at the bi-annual International Sales & Tech Symposium with 370 people from around the world gathered at corporate headquarters in Wessling, Germany. They are also highlighting the 25th anniversary at trade events throughout the year.
