Sustainability should be a key driver when it comes to choosing cleaning solutions. It is important to understand the value of a simple, consistent and sustainable process. It must be flexible in that it can adapt to any future changes, whether it be regulatory, environmental or with specific cleaning requirements. With this in mind in Booth A-4045, MicroCare Corporation (New Britain, CT) will present their portfolio of sustainable cleaning and finishing solutions, with their most recent addition – Tergo™ Metal Cleaning Fluid (MCF) – taking center stage. “The landscape for cleaning processes is continually changing,” said Rob Lee, the senior market and technical manager at MicroCare. “Whether that is through specific regulatory requirements or environmental concerns, cleaning results or cost reductions, trying to find a solution that is sustainable can be difficult for those in the metal manufacturing industry.” Tergo MCF addresses all of these concerns while achieving the very best cleaning results.
As one of the toughest vapor degreasing fluids on the market, Tergo MCF is an effective metal degreaser and parts debinder that works effectively on highly-advanced processes, such as metal injection molding and additive manufacturing. This cleaning fluid helps in the critical step of selectively removing the correct amount of the binder so as not to cause any damage, but enough for the final sintering process. Importantly, it has been formulated to replace traditional solvents like nPB, TCE, methylene chloride, and PERC. Additionally, the range of Tergo products have a low Global Warming Potential and are REACH/ROHS-compliant. Compatible with existing vapor degreasing equipment, Tergo MCF is compliant with all current and proposed environmental, health and safety regulations, giving it long-term sustainability credentials.
