Finishing Education Takes Center Stage

In its tenth year, the FINISHING Pavilion and Education Program of CCAI (Chemical Coaters Association International; Independence, KY) at FABTECH continues to thrive and offer great innovations and critical information on all aspects of industrial surface finishing. This trade show brings a wealth of innovation and technology solutions, along with expert-led presentations that cover a wide-range of technical topics for all finishing professionals. Returning to Chicago’s McCormick Place from November 11-14, this will be the largest FINISHING Pavilion and educational offerings to date – already sold out with nearly 200 exhibitors.

Overall, more than 1,800 exhibitors will showcase everything from fabrication, forming, stamping and welding along with finishing at FABTECH 2019, and 45,000 attendees are anticipated to visit the show floor that covers over 830,000 net sq ft of exhibit space. The FINISHING Pavilion is packed with suppliers that will display countless products, services, innovative ideas and equipment to attendees interested in all aspects of the finishing industry. SPECIAL FINISHING EVENTS
This event marks the third year of the FAB to FINISH Production Experience program that offers FABTECH attendees the opportunity to experience part production from fabrication through finishing on the exhibit floor. Participants will pick up their part at the Mazak booth in the fabrication portion of the show and will be directed to exhibitors in the FINISHING Pavilion, where the parts will be cleaned, coated and cured for attendees to take back to their plant or office.

On Wednesday, November 13, CCAI will host a Women in Finishing (WiF) reception in the CCAI booth (B-13026) at 4:00 pm, an opportunity for women in the finishing industry to network and socialize with their peers. “We’ve had great response to the WiF reception and are excited to host the women in our industry in the CCAI booth once again. We expect to share information on new WiF programming, including a preview of the 2020 Women in Finishing FORUM,” noted Women in Finishing Manager Sheila LaMothe. “Our response to this program has been so positive that offering more activities for this group is a natural progression.”
