Bob Southwell, Mike West, Al Wichner and Ben Shepherd move into new responsibilities.

Promoted to the position of the executive vice president, he will also retain all the vice president of sales and marketing responsibilities.
Mike West, AIDA-America
As a purchasing group leader, he will assist in directing the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services and is responsible for controlling total direct and indirect materials costs.
Al Wichner, AIDA- America
As a purchasing group leader, he will assist in directing the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services and is responsible for controlling total direct and indirect materials costs.
Ben Shepherd, AIDA America
In his new position, he is now responsible for managing mechanical engineering department associates, drawings, and the department’s master schedule.

AIDA-America Corporation (Dayton, OH) recently promoted several employees and thanked them for their dedication. Bob Southwell, who began his career with the company in August 1998, has been promoted to the executive vice president. He has held many positions with them, including as a regional sales manager, a market specialist, a national sales director, and the vice president of sales and marketing. In his new role, he will retain all the vice president of sales and marketing responsibilities.

Mike West and Al Wichner have both been promoted to purchasing group leader. West joined the company in March of 2012 as the supply chain coordinator. Wichner has been employed by the company for 12 years and previously served as the supply chain coordinator. In their new roles, they will both assist in directing the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services, and are responsible for controlling total direct and indirect materials costs.

Ben Shepherd, who joined the company’s engineering department in May of 2012, has been promoted to mechanical engineering group leader. His previous positions include mechanical engineer and senior mechanical engineer. In his new position, he is now responsible for managing mechanical engineering department associates, drawings, and the department’s master schedule.
