Control Software Boosts Memory and Connectivity – At No Extra Cost

Memory is expanded to 85GB for available program storage, complete WiFi connectivity is built-in, and users can now eliminate use of USB drives for programming with an auto-sync function that allows them to post out of their CAM software to a Dropbox G-code folder, even when their CNC machine isn’t on. The next time the machine is on, the sync happens immediately.

Tormach also offers the ‘TRY PathPilot’ virtual CNC Control simulator, a cloud-based program that is available for free to anyone with an internet connection. It allows new CNC users to learn programming in the PathPilot environment and try it before they buy it. Tormach CNC machine owners can also use this software to program remotely from anywhere, upload their virtual PathPilot code to their local controller and start making chips once they return to their CNC machine. Educators that use Tormach CNC machines in STEM programs now have the ability for students to complete curriculum programming outside of the makerspace lab.
