Weldcote Expands Sales Team

In his new role, he provides nationwide technical support and product evaluation and testing, as well as sales management in the five-state region of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, portions of Iowa and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Weldcote Metals (Kings Mountain, NC), a division of Zika Group Ltd., announced two new members to their sales team: Troy Galvin as a territory sales manager and Michael Maxon as a territory sales manager/process and applications specialist. This expansion of the sales team is part of a strategic effort to increase sales and visibility in the United States and position the brand as a one-stop-shop solution for the industrial tool industry.

Galvin joins them with more than ten years of industrial sales experience. He is responsible for sales and customer support in Florida and Georgia. Before joining the company, he held the positions of branch manager, outside sales and the vice president of sales and operations for MagneGas, a welding supply and gas distributor company.

Bringing more than 35 years of industry experience to his role, Maxon provides nationwide technical support and product evaluation and testing, as well as sales management in the five-state region of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, portions of Iowa and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Previously, he held roles in distribution, automation and technical sales at the district, regional and national levels. He has won awards for sales, service and technical support, and has multiple certifications in welding, cutting, HVAC and automation processes and applications.
