OTC Daihen Reaches Two Milestones
Their U.S. subsidiary celebrates 40 years in business while the parent company celebrates 100 years.

OTC Daihen, Inc. (Tipp City, OH) is celebrating multiple company anniversaries with an open house at their U.S. headquarters in Tipp City. In 1919, Daihen Corporation (Osaka, Japan) began business as Osaka Transformer Company, Ltd. (OTC) manufacturing power transformers for the growing industrial age. In 1934, production began on electric welding machines, beginning a legacy of advancing welding technology. Innovation expanded into arc welding robots in 1980, further securing the company’s influence on automated welding. Since then, they have developed a reputation for innovations and advancing the technology of manual and robotic welding systems. In 1979, OTC Daihen, Inc. was established, further expanding a leadership position within the industry.
On May 22, 2019 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, an open house celebration will be held at their U.S. facility in Tipp City, Ohio. This event will include:
