Capacitive Discharge welding is a highly repeatable system for micro welding or joining that can achieve quick energy release for welding highly conductive metals and is not affected by line voltage fluctuations. The innovative Capacitive Discharge Dual Pulse Advanced (CDDP-A) micro resistance welding system from Sunstone Welders (Payson, UT) is production-ready with feedback, reporting, full weld head control and many more features all built into a single system that is equipped with an 8 in full color touch screen display, giving users a simple way to control their entire welding process. The CDDP-A interface provides an easy way for users to adjust production settings, including multiple PLC protocols, cloning options, weld monitoring, and SPC tools. All welding results can be seen right on the screen as the weld is completed, or results can be exported to any computer.
