Abtex Corporation (Dresden, NY) announced that John De Leon has joined them as their business development manager, a new position created to focus on sustainable company growth through continued outstanding service of existing customers along with expansion into new markets. “Everyone here shares the same goal: to provide excellent products and services to customers,” said De Leon. “This is what has gotten us to our current industry leadership and what will help us reach the next level. I am looking forward to working with this first-rate team.”
De Leon brings more than 20 years of experience in highly engineered component and system sales, marketing, and business development. He has served in positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, project management, sales, marketing, business development, and business management for technology, robotics, and manufacturing companies serving customers in the industrial, automotive, aerospace, food and beverage and agriculture industries, along with many others. He holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.
