The Gecko Gripper from OnRobot can pay for itself in eight months by interfacing with any robot and using millions of micro-scaled fibrillar stalks to apply powerful forces that pick up flat, smooth objects and fragile items that vacuum grippers and electrostatic grippers can’t handle.
Their updated RG2-FT intelligent gripper uses built-in 6-axis force/torque sensing to see and feel objects for piece detection and centering needed in assembly, insertion, and quality inspection.
