Magline Hires New VP

Fran Bridges is their new vice president of engineering.

Magline, Inc. (Standish, MI) added Fran Bridges as their vice president of engineering, responsible for the development, design and innovation of new products, as well as continuous improvement of current designs to assist in growing and strengthening an already robust line of product offerings.

“I’m extremely excited to add Fran to our team. As a bilingual design technical leader and program manager, he brings over 20 years of experience defining, planning and implementing multi-faceted programs,” said Greg Ecker, the company president and chief operating officer. “His proven track record of success spans original equipment, electronics, manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, consumer and medical transcription and clinical documentation industries. His ability to foster cross-functional, multi-level communication and collaboration, attention to detail while sharing a vision, and delivering high-complexity programs on time and on budget will be tremendous assets in helping us continue to be an innovative leader in material handling systems.”

“I am excited to be joining this well respected team within a company known for its high quality products,” added Bridges, “I look forward to making a positive contribution in our continued success.” He joins their team following his most recent position as the vice president of operations for Segway (Bedford, NH), where he was responsible for leadership of strategy development, product design, material planning and procurement, quality, customer technical support and manufacturing operations. Additional experience includes leadership roles with Visteon Corporation and Ford Motor Company. He holds several educational credentials including a BA in computer science, a BS in electrical engineering, and a MS in computer control theory.
