DoALL Sawing Products (Savage, MN) donated two band saws to Workshop For Warriors® (WFW; San Diego, CA), which provides technical and vocational training for active duty and armed service veterans in both manufacturing and fabrication disciplines. “I was honored to meet the people at WFW, who have dedicated their careers to helping the men and women in the armed services, who keep our country secure,” said Kurt Plechaty, the president for DoALL. “Hernán Luis y Prado gave us a guided tour of the classrooms, labs and practical work areas. We were impressed with the depth and breadth of knowledge these students are getting with its curriculum. We were also honored to host a lunch and to have a chance to talk to the students about their experiences and future plans. They run a very impressive organization and we are proud to assist in such a valuable resource. We had an amazing time!”
WFW is a nonprofit school founded in 2008 that provides quality training, accredited STEM educational programs and opportunities to earn third-party nationally recognized credentials to enable veterans, transitioning service members and other students to be successfully trained and placed in their chosen advanced manufacturing career field.
