No. 934 is the model HX-850 (serial no. 490207) 850 deg F (454 deg C) cabinet oven from Grieve Corporation (Round Lake, IL) that is currently used for heat treating at a customer facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 38 in W x 20 in D x 26 in H. Ten kW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 600 CFM, 1/2 hp recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload. This cabinet oven has 6 in insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior and Type 430 stainless steel interior. Controls on the No. 934 include a digital indicating temperature controller, 10 in diameter circular chart recorder and SCR power controller.
