Advanced Optical Comparator with Touchscreen Geometric Display
The M2 2D processor on the PH-A14 comparator from Mitutoyo features a touchscreen geometric measurement display that generates distances and tangent lines from within the graphical part view and geometric tolerancing to measure features, set nominals, apply tolerances and view deviation results with only a few quick clicks.

The M2 2D processor from Mitutoyo America Corporation (Aurora, IL) is now available as part of a new package with the PH-A14 comparator and also for existing PH-A14 profile projectors. This processor uses M2 Geometric 2D Measurement Software and features an easy-to-use, high-tech touchscreen M2 geometric measurement display with graphics-based “part view” constructions that can generate distances and tangent lines from within the graphical part view, and geometric tolerancing to measure features, set nominals, apply tolerances and view deviation results with only a few quick clicks. The processor can customize report data and format, including header, footer and graphics. The PH-A14 profile projector features a 14 in screen horizontal projector that is equipped with accurate linear glass scales. It provides profile and fiber optic surface illumination and has an 8 in x 4 in travel T-slot table for accessories.
