Intended for remote monitoring up to 100 m away of all open arc welding processes, such as MIG/MAG, TIG, plasma, laser or Stick welding, the rugged XVC-1000e/ 1100e weld camera from Xiris Automation Inc. (Burlington, ON) shows the weld in exceptional detail. The XVC-1000e camera can be provided as a standalone camera or packaged as a complete system with accessories, such as a fan-less PC, display monitor, cables of various lengths, and power adapters on a custom basis. The XVC-1100e provides the same sturdy functionality with the added benefit of HDR color imaging. Each camera is supplied with the WeldStudio™ software utility that provides the user with a variety of powerful features for camera control, image processing and display, graphical overlays, and video recording and feedback.
