Tenneco Installs New Lubrication Equipment

The two lubrication systems from Industrial Innovations are used in the pressroom of their Elkhart, IN, automotive plant.

Each system Tenneco installed consists of a Pro-Mix Dual proportional lubricant mixing system and Spra-Rite roll coater featuring its Beta processor. This package provides the flexibility to accommodate a variety of stamping applications.

Tenneco, Inc. (Grandville, MI) has installed two lubrication systems from Industrial Innovations, Inc. (Grandville, MI) in the pressroom of their Elkhart, IN, facility that manufactures clean air systems for the automotive industry. Each system consists of a Pro-Mix™ Dual proportional lubricant mixing system and Spra-Rite™ roll coater featuring its Beta processor. These systems are designed to provide consistent application of lubricant, which can help to eliminate downtime, improve production rates and reduce lubricant usage.

This package provides the flexibility to accommodate a variety of stamping applications. The Pro-Mix lubricant mixing systems enable one lubricant type to be mixed at two different ratios and mixing stations. The Beta controls package provides independent control of up to 48 injectors for lubricant volume, stroke count, and time delay as well as 200 spray patterns with automatic or manual capability. The Spra-Rite roll coaters offer simple coil feed installation with coil or power feed capability, automatic press control communication and 200-part recipe capability. Additionally, these systems feature a solid, one-piece, quick release roller, which allows quick changeover time between jobs.
