QUEST Machining & Fabrication, LLC (Holbrook, NY) expanded their operations to include artistic design services, from concept to creation. “We are very excited to add a new service for our current and future customers called Designs by QUEST,” said Keith Matovich, the president of the company. “Whether it’s functional or artistic, all of our custom designs are extraordinary works of art. We specialize in bringing distinctive style and creativity to a home or corporate space. Our unique ability to take on any project, no matter how custom it needs to be, is what keeps current customers returning to us for future projects.”
This shop has designed and built a vast array of theme-based products, displays, fixtures, and furniture by integrating metal and other materials into imaginative shapes and assemblies that have been featured all over Long Island and the United States, including the “Medieval One” Hot Rod; an “AJ” scale (aproximately 40 percent) remote-controlled Winters Brothers Roll-Off Truck BBQ; the “Tornado Bar” at The All Star Bowling Alley in Riverhead; and the Counter & Display plus a Giant Tattoo Machine for the World Famous Tattoo Lou’s.
Their new service features John “AJ” Bohata, a master fabricator, designer and builder. “We are very excited and pleased to welcome AJ and his staff to our growing team that specializes in new and different one-off designs from Mild to Wild,” added Matovich. “He has brought to life creations that his clients can only dream of. His design and fabrication of the Medieval One Helmet Car has been featured in HotRod magazine and is now a finalist to become a Hot Wheels® car.”
