North American Tool (South Beloit, IL) announced that Pittman Industrial Marketing, Inc. (Birmingham, AL) has been chosen as the Independent Manufacturer Representative for North American Tool’s line of special taps, thread mills, dies, and gages for the Southeast region that includes Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, along with Puerto Rico. Pittman Industrial was founded in 1973 by Jack Pittman, their chief executive officer and machinery product manager. The agency covers the southeastern United States, representing manufacturers of cutting tools, machinery, machine tool accessories, precision measuring equipment, parts washers, and industrial marking products.
John Pittman, the company president, is a Certified Professional Manufacturers’ Representative (CPMR) and is the past president and chairman of the North American Industrial Representative Association (NIRA) Board. He provides overall leadership and direction for all associates, including Grant Stinson (Birmingham), David Hamp (Largo, FL), Chuck Demond (Chattanooga, TN) and Jeremy Roberts (Dallas, GA).
