Lightweight, Low Noise Compact Feeder and Resistance Welding Lab Capabilities
The Compact Feeder from Dengensha is a magnet-type rotary nut feeder that operates with 16 db less noise than other vibrator-style feeders, has a smaller footprint than an A3 size of paper, and is about 50 percent lighter than comparable feeders and 50 percent smaller than vibrator styles.

In Booth C-11452, Dengensha America Corporation (Bedford, OH) will introduce their new Compact Feeder, a magnet-type rotary nut feeder. With low noise, a small footprint, and because it is both lightweight and compact, this feeder offers manufacturers a significant option in resistance welding setup. More specifically, this unit operates with 16 db less noise when compared with other vibrator-style feeders and has a smaller footprint than an A3 size of paper (11 in x 17 in). It is also light as well as compact – about 50 percent lighter than comparable feeders and about 50 percent smaller than vibrator styles. The Compact Feeder sorting method works as follows: nuts are lifted by a magnet, unnecessary nuts are dropped by a wiper, and upside-down nuts are sorted out by a sorting blade. This magnet-type rotary nut feeder works well with a variety of nut types, including square nuts, hexagon nuts, circular nuts, hexagon nuts with circular flanges, as well as T-shape nuts with circular flanges.
Dengensha America will also highlight the capabilities of their new Resistance Welding Test Lab & Training Center, part of a major building renovation to better support customers in North America that recently opened at their Bedford headquarters and enables engineers to better analyze specific customer application requirements and determine the best parameters for more customized equipment. This facility already features expanded test capabilities for much of their major resistance welding equipment, including the LinearWave Capacitor Discharge Welder, the NDZ-CDW Variable-Output Capacitor Discharge Welder, the MFDC Welder, the AC Welder with Feeder, the new Lightweight High Force Reduction Gear X-Gun installed on a FANUC Robot, and the new Compact Feeder. The facility also offers a “push-out” test capability to confirm weld strength after testing, as well as a hot stamp and aluminum application testing capability that is proving to be extremely popular with customers.
