In Booth B-6851, the Time Tracker System from Red Bud Industries (Red Bud, IL) is a production monitoring system that allows management to accurately pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies in order to maximize output while minimally affecting operators during their routine tasks. Consequently, Time Tracker has an organized, easy-to-use interface while still maintaining the capabilities that a supervisor will need to monitor not only one, but multiple coil processing lines in a single factory or several locations. This data will ultimately help supervisors gain the most from their equipment. In addition, because the system is integrated with the equipment’s controls, it avoids the additional work and confusion that other “off the shelf” software can create. The system also provides explanations as to why the equipment is not productive. This information is accurate, detailed, and specifically tailored to the coil processing line. The following are a few of the items that can be automatically tracked:

• Coil preparation • Tailout of the coil
• Threading of the coil • Slitter set up
• Stretcher set up • Roll out of finished material
• Shear set up • Miscellaneous down time
• Leveler set up • Packaging
• Feed set up • Quality control checks
